This is an attractive, smallish but athletic, homebred colt by Cracksman and is expected to be a mid- season two- year- old. He is more than a half- brother to Nate the Great being out of the same dam and by Cracksman who like Nate himself is a grandson of the great Galileo. Cracksman is the sire of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and Prix du Jockey club winner, Ace Impact. Theladyinquestion’s pedigree has gradually improved over the past seven years with her half-brother, James Garfield’s performance, winning the Mill Reef and becoming a stallion, by two of her sisters becoming Stakes placed, her close relative, Uni becoming a multiple Group 1 winner, and she, herself’ becoming the dam of the Stakes winning and multiple Group placed, Nate the Great and the grand-dam of the Group 2 placed, Perfect Prophet.

His sire, Cracksman, is by Frankel the highest rated racehorse in the world and the world champion was himself by Galileo, the world’s best sire. Cracksman won his only race a two and at three was third in the Derby Stakes at Epsom and won the QIPCO Champion Stakes Group 1 at Ascot by seven lengths and was the European Champion three year old colt. He was also the European Champion older horse at four once again winning the Champion Stakes, this time by six lengths and also the Coronation Cup and the Prix Garnay, Group 1 at Longchamp. He won £2.8m over 8F to 12F before being retired to stud in 2019. To date he is the sire of 47 winners of 69 races.

His progeny include the unbeaten, Ace Impact and the Group 2 winning Alda and Stakes winning Cracksmania n Dance in the Grass.

His dam, Theladyinquestion (TLIQ) is a dual winning and Stakes placed (4^th) half -sister to Group 2 winning and dual Group placed (including at Royal Ascot) and 113 rated, James Garfield and Stakes placed, The Shrew and Morag Mcullagh. Her dam is the Royal Ascot Chesham winner, Whazzat, herself out of Wosaita also the dam of Group 3 and Stakes winning, Whazzis, dam of Stakes placed, Whim and Unaided, dam of dual Group 1 winner, UNI. Theladyinquestion is the dam of the 111 rated Stakes winning and multiple Stakes placed Nate the Great, the winning and 92 rated So Sharp and the 86 rated dual winning Lady Rascal. She is also the granddam of the Group 2 placed, Perfect Prophet
